La Vita è Bella, at Dyker Heights! Great minds, create awesome tees! Thanks Amber Li for the fabulous shirt design for our 8th grade Italian classes :)
Celebrating the culture, cuisine and music of Italy with seniors from class 813 at CHEF ANDREA'S in Dyker Heights. Chef Andrea is a wonderful supporter of our school and community. He warmly welcomed the students to his quaint restaurant with a smile and an authentic Italian meal of tricolor salad, antipasto, orecchiette al forno con melanzane e piselli, and for dessert, he served the students gelato on a cialda (waffle) ordered directly from Milano specially for this wonderful occasion. The students were also serenaded by Italian singer, Vincenzo Venuto...Enjoy!
Wishing everyone a safe and restful summer vacation. Please be sure to review your summer Italian packet and return with it in September. You will be working with them throughout the next school year. Buon' Estate a tutti! Signora Amodeo
