Our History
Becoming I.S.201 The Madeleine Brennan School
On July 1, 2022, our building, formerly known as Dyker Heights Intermediate School for close to a century, was renamed I.S.201 The Madeleine Brennan School. Now named for the former principal, Mrs. Brennan, who held the title for fifty years, the school still maintains its academic excellence for which she worked so hard to achieve. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on through the students and staff at I.S. 201 The Madeleine Brennan School.
